The "publish all" function will publish every page of your site in one click. This is extremely powerful and used when you are publishing your site for the first time, or have made a change which effects all of the pages of the site.
Remember that if your site has many pages this publishing process can take some time. Use Publish Instructions to publish groups of pages on your site.
