How do I copy a page?

  1. Open the page you would like to edit in the page editing window by clicking once on its name in the site tree 'Pages' tab.
  2. Select the 'Copy Page' option from the 'Edit' menu in the page editing toolbar to open the form which allows you to create a copy of the page.
  3. Complete the required fields in the form:
    • Use the drop-down menu or the site tree pop-up if you wish to select a parent folder within which the page will be duplicated.
    • Amend the URL file name for the duplicate page in the field labelled 'URL Name', if required.
    • Check the box to confirm whether you would like the content of the page to be to be copied.
  4. Click once on the 'Go' button to copy the page.

A message will appear to advise you that the page has been copied. You may have to re-display the WMS to update the changes in the site tree 'Pages' tab. The process for copying a page is now complete, and you will remain in the page editing area until you carry out another task or navigate to another area of the WMS.

Note: The copy page function is only available to professional edition WMS Sites.
